The first track, Manasilaayo, from Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan has been released. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the track features the AI voice of late singer Malaysia Vasudevan.

After teasing fans with a glimpse of Manasilaayo, the first song from Rajinikanth's upcoming film Vettaiyan, the makers have finally released the full track today, September 9. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the upbeat dance number features the AI voice of the late Indian playback singer Malaysia Vasudevan.

Manasilaayo is a vibrant dance number featuring Rajinikanth, Manju Warrier, and Anirudh Ravichander dancing energetically in the video. Set against a festive backdrop, the song's title, Manasilaayo, is derived from Rajinikanth's iconic dialogue in his previous blockbuster, Jailer.

The use of the late singer Malaysia Vasudevan's voice in the song marks the first time in 27 years that a singer's rendition will be used for a Rajinikanth film. Manasilaayo is sung by Yugendran Vasudevan, Anirudh Ravichander and Deepthi Suresh.

Anirudh shared a montage on Instagram to announce Manasilaayo's release. He expressed his gratitude to the makers and the late singer.

As per reports, Vettaiyan is a hard-hitting action entertainer based on a true story. It is said that the actor will play a Muslim police officer in the film.

Vettaiyan, helmed by TJ Gnanavel, has an impressive lineup of stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan. Lyca Productions is backing this project. The musical score will be crafted by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will hit theatres on October 10.
