After winning six of their last seven before the All-Star break, the Golden State Warriors will start their post-break stretch of the season with a critical prime-time battle on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Tied in the loss column, the ninth-place Lakers sit ahead of the 10th-place Warriors in the Western Conference standings.
The last time the Lakers made the trip to Chase Center in late January, the Warriors dropped a double-overtime thriller by one point, 145-144. On Thursday, the Lakers will be without LeBron James against the Warriors due to an ankle injury.
