Bollywood actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal culminated their seven-year romance with a magical wedding on June 23, in Mumbai, on Sunday. The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony before celebrating with nearly 1,000 guests at a grand reception held later in the evening which was attended by Bollywood stars such as Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Tabu, Rekha and Saira Bano among others.

After taking social media by storm with pictures and videos from their reception ceremony, where Sonakshi looks radiant in a red saree, sindoor and bindi, the couple cutting a four-tier cake, adorned with their initials, has become a social media highlight. The towering white cake is decorated with flowers and gorgeous engravings on the cake. The couple’s energy is palpable in the pap videos circulated online. Sonakshi and Zaheer are seen dancing to “Tere Mast Mast Do Nain” from Sonakshi’s debut film, Dabangg, a sweet nod to her beginnings. For the cake-cutting ceremony, Sonakshi wore a dazzling red Anarkali suit while the groom complemented her perfectly in white attire.
An earlier video from their reception ceremony shows Sonakshi and Zaheer dancing to “Chikni Kamar Pe Teri Mera Dil Phisal Gaya” from Rowdy Rathore. The reception overflowed with joyous moments, with actress Kajol even joining the newlyweds for a lively dhol dance.
Sonakshi shared stunning pictures from her civil marriage on Instagram, where she is seen donning a beautiful white saree, a treasured family heirloom from her mother. Throughout the festivities, Sonakshi and Zaheer’s happiness shone brightly, making their wedding a truly unforgettable celebration.
The newlyweds enjoyed their first dance on the iconic song “Afreen Afreen” by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Sonakshi also walked over a bed of red roses while Zaheer romantically held her hand.
