ZIM vs AFG, 1st Test Day 1 Highlights: Sean Williams scored an unbeaten 145 as Zimbabwe went to Stumps at 363 for the loss of four wickets. Debutant AM Ghazanfar picked up two wickets for the Afghans.

Well, Afghanistan were too eager for a wicket and in the process were not able to bowl two consecutive good deliveries. They were just not able to build pressure and in return gave plenty of freebies to the hosts. Hashmatullah Shahidi shuffled his bowling option, mainly going with spinners but didn't get much success in return. Afghanistan looked tired eventually. He fell in the final over before Lunch but Zimbabwe stitch another big partnership with Takudzwanashe Kaitano and Sean Williams. The former fell but Williams is still going strong, unbeaten on 145. He along with the skipper have bossed the final session and have taken the upper hand in this game on Day 1.

That wicket right at the end will make Afghanistan feel a lot better but Zimbabwe have done really well in this session! Their openers got them off to a good start before that stand was broken and then the 2nd wicket partnership continued the good work. Ben Curran looked in fine touch and he was the star. Just as it seemed they would enter the break only one down, AM Ghazanfar struck and got the better of Curran. Still though, Zimbabwe are in a decent position and they'll hope to continue the good work after the break!
