BTS may be in the middle of an ongoing hiatus—one which doesn’t seem to have an end date—but they are still churning out music and keeping their fans happy.

On Wednesday, BTS announced that they have a new song ready to do, a single titled "Take Two." The song is scheduled to arrive on June 9.

In honor of their momentous 10th anniversary, “Take Two” is set to be a heartfelt celebration by the band and of the band. It’s meant to appease their die-hard followers and mark this milestone, which few boy bands reach—and even fewer hit when they’re at their peak.

“Take Two” was reportedly produced by BTS member Suga, while fellow singers RM and J-Hope contributed their songwriting skills to the song.

During their hiatus, BTS members have embarked on solo projects, allowing them to explore and express their unique artistic visions outside of the group's collective work. In addition to their individual pursuits, the septet of BTS continues to release music together.

Last month, they delivered the one-off song “The Planet,” which they wrote and recorded for a TV program back in South Korea. The tune became a quick sales success in the U.S., opening inside the top 10 on the Digital Song Sales chart, though it didn't achieve much more outside of that one position.

In anticipation of their upcoming 10th anniversary, BTS also revealed a calendar for the highly anticipated BTS FESTA, an annual celebration commemorating the group's debut on June 13, 2013. Beginning with the single announcement and continuing through June 17, the band has planned an exciting lineup of exclusive content drops as part of their momentous celebration. The whole to-do will culminate with a special event in Seoul, South Korea.

Right now, “Take Two” seems to be a standalone single, as there weren't any further details given regarding a new EP, album or compilation.
