This Friday MBC premiered period drama Chief Detective 1958 starring Lee Je Hoon along a strong supporting cast of Lee Dong Hwi, Choi Woo Sung, and Yoon Hyun Soo and the first episode set a recent year record for the network with 10.1% ratings. For example, critically acclaimed MBC sageuk My Dearest didn’t hit double digit until episode 6.
