GT vs DC IPL 2024 Live Score: Shubman Gill's Gujarat Titans will take on Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad

Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals IPL 2024 Live Score: A spirited DC bowling unit bundled GT for 89 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.

Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl against Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans.

While the former are stuck in the middle muddle the latter are lingering at the bottom of the table in ninth position. Titans once again looked scratchy in their last win against Rajasthan Royals. Though the win from a losing situation would have given them the confidence booster needed the top-order contributions have been a concern for the side. Apart from skipper Gill the other batters have failed to deliver an innings of substance.

As per Delhi Capitals, they are unpredictable similar to their skipper Rishabh Pant. It is hard to predict if the Delhi which played against Lucknow Super Giants where they had a clinical win would turn up or the one against Mumbai Indians from the game before that where they were taken to the cleaners. Pant would be hoping the former would be true which will enable them to get some momentum in the campaign.

It was to Umesh, a family friend and an independent MLA from Uttarakhand, that Rishabh Pant’s mother had turned to for help in the early hours of December 30, 2022, when the star cricketer met with a horrific car accident near Roorkee.

It has been 15 months since the accident that left Pant’s right knee twisted at an impossible 90-degree angle. The leg had to be straightened before he could be brought out of the car. On March 12, the Indian cricket board announced that the wicketkeeper-batsman is fit and will make a return to competitive cricket with the Indian Premier League (IPL).
