Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans Live Score, IPL 2023 Final: The 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) final which was supposed be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday, May 28 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad was postponed to the reserve day i.e. on Monday after incessant rain did not let a ball to be bowled.

CSK are the most successful team in IPL history, having won the title four times. They are also the most experienced team in the competition, with a number of world-class players in their squad, including MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Ravindra Jadeja.

GT are the defending champions and are looking to become the first team to win back-to-back IPL titles. They have a young and exciting team, led by Hardik Pandya and Rashid Khan. The match is sure to be a thrilling contest and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

What will happen if rain washes out reserve day as well?

If the weather remains the same , there’s a possibility of a 5-over per contest. Even if that cannot be afforded, A Super Over can take place. In the most unlikely situation, the team at the top of league table will be declared the winner.

Who will decide the IPL final?

58 days,73 matches and 12 venues later we are at the same place we started. The IPL 2023 final mirrors the season opener between defending champions Gujarat Titans and four-time winners Chennai Super Kings. Although MS Dhoni’s side would be hoping to reverse the result from that fixture where they were beaten comprehensively by five wickets.

On the other hand, the wounds of qualifier-1 would be still fresh in the minds of Hardik Pandya and his men who lost to CSK by 15 runs. However, the wrath of the defeat was felt by Mumbai Indians on Friday when they were thumped by 62 runs. The victory restated the fact that in the home conditions, the Titans can steamroll any side on any given day.

At Chepauk Chennai had a clear advantage as they were well equipped for those conditions. On the night defending 172 runs as the surface slowed down the Chennai spinners came into the game and dismantled the Titan’s middle order. However, they might not be having the same luxury in Ahmedabad as the conditions will be completely different. (More)
