Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 3-2 with a stoppage-time goal from English player Jude Bellingham, completing a series of three official victories over Barcelona in one season. This is the first time since the 1935-36 season that Real Madrid has managed such a feat.

Carlo Ancelotti's team nearly secured the league title with an 11-point lead and six games remaining. They have won both La Liga EA Sports matches and the Super Cup final in Riyadh against Xavi Hernández's Barcelona team.

In preseason, on July 29, 2023, at the AT&T Stadium, Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3-0 with a strong performance, including the first goal by Ousmane Dembele, who later moved to PSG. However, in official matches, Real Madrid has emerged victorious this season.

In the eleventh matchday, Ancelotti's team came from behind to win against a Barcelona team with an early goal from German Ilkay Gundogan at six minutes. Bellingham scored twice, with the second goal coming at the 92nd minute.

In the Super Cup final on January 14, Real Madrid secured a dominant 4-1 victory, with a hat trick from Vinicius Jr. and a goal from Rodrygo Goes. Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski scored a goal, but Ronald Araújo received a red card.

In the third and final clásico of the season, Bellingham was the decisive factor again with a late goal set up by Lucas Vázquez, who also assisted Vinicius for the first equalizer and the second for Bellingham's second goal.

Ancelotti's team has shown resilience in La Liga matches, coming from behind nine times to secure victories, surpassing their 1996-97 and 2002-03 records.

Real Madrid's success in winning all three clásicos in one season last occurred in 1935-36, with victories in both league matches and the Copa del Rey final.

Real Madrid has now won four consecutive clásicos in official tournaments, including a 0-4 victory at Camp Nou in the Copa del Rey semi-finals last season.

The last time Real Madrid achieved this streak was between the 2019-20 season (2-0 in La Liga) and the 2021-22 season (3-2 in the Super Cup semi-finals), when they had a streak of five consecutive wins.
