Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth are engaged. Reports emerged on Wednesday that the couple had tied the knot in a close knit ceremony but Aditi and Siddharth chose to stay silent about the rumours. On Thursday, Aditi took to Instagram and confirmed their engagement.
She shared in the caption, “He said yes! ❤️ E. N. G. A. G. E. D. ????” Siddharth also shared the same photo and wrote in the caption, “She Said YES! ❤️ E. N. G. A. G. E. D ????”. The location tagged in their photos places them at Srirangapuram, Near Wanaparthy. The reports of their wedding emerged from the same location as well.
Aditi and Siddharth reportedly started dating during the filming of their 2021 film, Maha Samudram. In the many years that they have been together, the couple has indulged in a lot of social media PDA but never addressed the relationship rumours. In an Instagram post in 2023, Siddharth addressed Aditi as his “partner” which fueled their relationship rumours.
But before that, it was a dance video in February 2023, that made everyone believe that the couple was indeed dating.
In a chat with India Today in 2023, Aditi said that her personal life was ‘sacrosanct’ to her and shared, “Anything that is in my personal life, whether family, friends or whoever, is very sacrosanct to me. It’s not meant for general consumption. I think there’s a time and place to talk about things and I prefer to keep it that way. I’m not being diplomatic or polite, but I truly believe that.”
Siddharth has also maintained that he does not wish to open up about his personal life. He previously told indianexpress.com, “If I was six months into the business and you were asking me as a person starting to understand the life of a famous person, then this could have been an interesting answer. I have been doing this for half of my life and I have always said the same thing — my job starts and ends with what I do at work, which is acting. Everything else, while the whole universe might think that they have the right to information on, I only talk about things which I feel like talking about.”
Aditi was previously married to actor Satyadeep Mishra. Satyadeep married Masaba Gupta in 2023. Siddharth was previously married to a woman named Meghna. The marriage lasted for four years.
