Al Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo resume their Saudi Pro League title challenge on February 17 as they play host to Al Fateh.
The Portugal great scored on his first competitive start of 2024 this week, his goal giving Al Nassr a 1-0 win over fellow Saudi side Al Feiha in the first leg of their AFC Champions League tie.
Now, attention turns back to league play. Luis Castro's men defeated Al Taawoun 4-1 in their last top-flight game on December 30, and they resume the title race with a seven-point deficit to the unbeaten league leaders, Al Hilal.
Al Fateh are back in seventh place in the standings, and they won just one of their previous nine competitive matches before the Saudi season took a break beginning in January.
Ronaldo and company are expected to record another victory here in Riyadh. Indeed, he scored a hat-trick in their previous meeting — a 5-0 win in August last year — so he may well relish the chance to add to his goal tally.
