JAKARTA – GEN Charles Flynn, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Pacific Command, was honored to be hosted by: GEN Agus Subiyanto, Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces (PANGLIMA TNI), at Indonesian Military Headquarters sub-detachment office Merdeka Barat; and GEN Maruli Simanjuntak, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (KASAD), at Army Headquarters (Mabesad), Jakarta, while visiting Indonesia April 21-23.  The generals discussed how the United States and Indonesian militaries can build upon a thriving security partnership, one of the pillars of the 75 years of diplomatic relations celebrated by United States and Indonesia throughout 2024.
