Arvind Kejriwal Arrest News LIVE: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been remanded to the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for six days till March 28. This was despite the Enforcement Directorate seeking a 10-day remand of Kejriwal. The Delhi CM was arrested in connection with a money laundering case linked to the Delhi government's Excise Policy. He was presented before a Delhi court on Friday. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders will gherao Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence on March 26 to protest against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's arrest, said AAP leader Gopal Rai. Meanwhile, AAP leaders have protested the arrest. Several AAP leaders were detailed on Friday.

In a post on X, Atishi questioned the "sealing" of the party office, saying it is against the "level playing field" promised by the Constitution.

A local court has directed to preserve CCTV camera footage on a plea filed by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, seeking the removal of a Delhi Police officer deployed for security in the court for alleged misconduct.

Special Representative of the Telangana State Government and Congress leader Mallu Ravi on Friday condemned the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal earlier yesterday terming it as a "political arrest" and alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) did not want the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to go in favour of the INDIA bloc in Delhi and other parts of India.
