— A deputy responded at 2:28 a.m. Tuesday to Hilltop Lawn and Garden, state Route 14, Salem Township, for a reported alarm. All the buildings and area around the equipment were checked, but all appeared secure.

— An open 911 line was reported at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on Hadley Road, Unity Township. Deputies spoke with the residents who advised everything was fine and that deputies were not needed. According to the juvenile son, he and his sister had been arguing, but it was over. Deputies left after speaking with the mother.

— A deputy was dispatched at 2:43 a.m. Monday to Barnett’s Motel, U.S. Route 62, Salem, to check the welfare of a man staying there. The deputy found the man’s vehicle in the parking lot but was unable to make contact with anyone inside a hotel room. A door hangar was left explaining for the person to contact the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office.

— A man was reported looking in people’s windows in the area of Failer Road in Unity Township at 12:55 a.m. Monday. A deputy checked the area, but was unable to locate anyone.

— An alarm was reported going off at a local business on Jimtown Road, Unity Township, at 11:02 p.m. Sunday. A deputy checked around the building and found all doors and windows secure.

— A noise complaint was reported at 2:18 a.m. Sunday in the area of North Avenue in Elkrun Township, but deputies were unable to locate any noise.
